Dr Philippa Whitford MP stated that older householders should never have been sold 25 year agreements and whilst the Green Deal Finance Company is reducing some debts, many elderly people STILL paying huge amounts. Building warrants not applied for prior to building work, householders told not needed and can’t be applied for retrospectively leaving householders with homes they can neither insure nor sell .
